Las Vegas, NV, May 23, 2015: The Board of Directors of Las Vegas PRIDE and members of the Las Vegas Leather community are excited to announce the addition of the new titles of Mr. and Miss Las Vegas Leather PRIDE to the esteemed group of Royalty Titles. Las Vegas PRIDE Executive Director Ernie Yuen “The PRIDE Board is extremely excited to have the opportunity to be involved with the Leather Community of Las Vegas.” To assist in the operation and guidance, the Leather PRIDE Royalty Committee has also been approved to be added as a sub-committee of the Las Vegas PRIDE Royalty Committee. The new committee also has created the official logo of Las Vegas Leather PRIDE. Mr. and Miss Las Vegas Leather PRIDE titles are governed under all Bylaws and SOPs of Southern Nevada Association of PRIDE, Inc.
To follow inline with the long tradition of volunteerism, Mr. and Miss Las Vegas Leather PRIDE are both volunteer positions as well as the Leather PRIDE Royalty Committee. Volunteerism is a fundamental core value of Las Vegas PRIDE and the Leather Community. Mr. and Miss Las Vegas Leather PRIDE in addition to being the faces of Las Vegas PRIDE and the Leather Community these Royalty titles will hard work to promote and educate others about the amazing and unique facet of the LGBT community. “We are looking to reach out to other local groups and organizations to partner up for future events. Maybe even add new Royalty titles who knows?” say Ernie Yuen, Executive Director of Southern Nevada Association of PRIDE, Inc.
The Leather Community has always held contests to select their titleholders. There are certain attributes a Leather titleholder needs to possess in order to be awarded any title. With the assistance of the Leather community members, Jason Oquist “Papa Bear” – International Leather Person of Leather 2015 and Bobby Townsend “FunBobby – Philadelphia Leather Cub 1999 & 2013, we have developed a contest plan to ensure fairness and that the winner follows the ways of the Leather Community. “ The whole PRIDE team is looking forward to this contest!” says Yuen.
The Mr. and Miss Las Vegas Leather PRIDE 2015 Contest Preliminary Round will be Sunday June 14, 2015 at Charlie’s Las Vegas from 4pm – 8 pm. The Final Round will be Friday June 19, 2015 at Charlie’s Las Vegas from 8pm- 12am. The PRIDE team would like to invite everyone 21+ out to attend this inaugural Mr. and Miss Las Vegas Leather PRIDE 2015 Contest.
