PULSE NIGHTCLUB, 5 YEARS LATER

Recommit to standing united, telling our stories, and working together for a better tomorrow.

Las Vegas, NV, June 12, 2021: Each June we celebrate the vibrancy and progress of the many communities that make up our bright rainbow. Today we remember the 49 souls we lost and the 53 survivors to whose lives were forever changed. This heartbreaking anniversary is a somber reminder that our work is not done.  But we are encouraged by the unanimous confirmation in both the US Senate and House of Representatives to designate the site as a National Memorial.

We invite our community and allies to keep the fighting spirit of PRIDE alive by speaking up and speaking out about senseless violence and broken gun laws that leave our most vulnerable communities most at risk.

As we commemorate the Stonewall Riots this month with celebrations and expressions of joy, we recommit ourselves to standing united, telling our stories and working together for a better tomorrow.
