Las Vegas Orgullo Latino (Las Vegas Latin PRIDE) was introduced in 2015. Las Vegas PRIDE in partnership with the LVCVA began an initiative to embrace and celebrate the Latin Community with a major scale event and an expansion of the Las Vegas PRIDE Royalty program. The Orgullo Latino festivities included a week-long celebration filled with parties and special events culminating with a two-day festival at the Llama Lot in Downtown Las Vegas.
The 2015 PRIDE Festival was held at the Clark County Government Center and was headlined by Jessica Sutta, David Hernandez, and Blake McIver. Other events surrounding the celebration included pool parties, PRIDE Family Bingo, parties at Charlie’s Las Vegas, Chateau Nightclub, Piranha Nightclub, Share Nightclub, DW Bistro, Entourage, and a youth skate night at the Crystal Palace Skating Center.
This year, the organization also underwent a restructuring to include a new staff position of Executive Director. The new role was filled by the organization’s then president, Ernie Yuen.
The president of the organization this year was Jorge Solorio and the Executive Director was Ernie Yuen. The royal title holders were Mr. Las Vegas PRIDE: Wayne Miestle & Craig Meland, and Mrs. Las Vegas PRIDE: Lisa St. Laurent
