Finding Voice, Finding Power: The Dual Journey of JoJo Teves and Jolene Secrets
Few stories shine as powerfully and authentically as that of JoJo Teves, known on stage as Jolene Secrets. As a two-time Miss Deaf Las Vegas PRIDE (2022 and 2023), Jolene represents more than glamour and performance. She represents resilience, identity, and the powerful impact of being seen. Behind the crown and spotlight is JoJo, a Deaf individual, student, and future educator whose journey reflects growth, courage, and purpose.
Letter from the President
We made it through June and we are SO PROUD of our community for SUPPORTING the ONE AND ONLY, Las Vegas PRIDE! Las Vegas PRIDE fights for human rights, love, equity, and liberation every day, and we are so blessed to get to build culture and community especially each June since it was declared as National PRIDE Month in 1999 (our Organization has been serving the community since the early 1980s!).
Voices of Our Community
The LGBTQIA+ community has always thrived through storytelling. Long before social media and livestreams, our history was passed from person to person, preserving experiences, lessons and victories that might otherwise have been forgotten. Today, the Las Vegas PRIDE Podcast continues that tradition, creating a space where community members can share their journeys, celebrate their accomplishments and inspire the next generation.
Elevating Summer Vibes at SAHARA Las Vegas
The summer season got off to a spectacular start as Las Vegas PRIDE and SAHARA Las Vegas welcomed guests to the first weeks of the 2026 Elevate Pool Party series at Retro Pool. From the moment the gates opened, the energy was undeniable as community members, visitors, friends, and allies came together to celebrate diversity, connection, and the spirit of PRIDE.

Volunteer with Las Vegas PRIDE!
Whether you volunteer at the PRIDE Night Parade or the PRIDE Festival, by becoming a volunteer and joining our Volunteer LOVE program you are sure to make great new friends while feeling good about the work you are doing in your community. Each year, our volunteers choose which of their favorite nonprofits will benefit from PRIDE contributions. To become a volunteer and join our LOVE Program please visit our volunteer page.
Education & Special Interests
In addition to our own educational programs, Las Vegas PRIDE partners with numerous organizations to promote awareness and assist with fundraising efforts, providing financial support for LGBT focused programs. This is done in the hopes of creating a stronger LGBT community in Southern Nevada.
