LAS VEGAS PRIDE PRESENTS FRIGHT NIGHT AT TOP-RANKED HAUNTED ATTRACTION FRIGHT DOME AT CIRCUS CIRCUS

October 17, 2012, Las Vegas, Nevada: Southern Nevada Association of PRIDE, Inc. and Fright Dome at Circus Circus will be teaming up this year for the first ever LGBT night, “Fright Night 2012.” October 30 is now the night to wear orange. To add fashion and flair to the evening, a collectible ‘Fright Night 2012’ T-shirt was created. Guests are encouraged to wear orange, be proud and be seen! Ghouls and goblins will roll out the rainbow carpet as Las Vegas PRIDE joins Fright Dome’s 10th anniversary. This is a special night at Fright Dome dedicated to the Las Vegas LGBT community including family, friends and supporters.

LGBT Fright Night 2012 will be a great evening filled with fun and surprises for all attendees. Top-ranked haunted attraction Fright Dome is celebrating a decade of terrifying fans from around the world and has partnered with iconic horror film producer and zombie expert George A. Romero to theme one of its five haunted houses. Attendees can also look forward to a costume contest with more than$1,800 in cash and prizes. (First place will take home $1,000 in cash!) The number of participants is limited but attendees can pre-register online at www.lasvegaspride.org to ensure their place in the contest.

Shannel from RuPaul’s All-Star Drag Race will host the evening’s events, with other local performers and ghoulish go-go dancers. In support of LGBT night, Sin City Q Social’s will cohost the evening as its weekly social event. “This will be the first of many years to come for the LGBT community to enjoy this great Fright Night event,” says Ernie Yuen, Las Vegas PRIDE President. “We wanted to add value to the evening with just a little bit of glitz mixed in with the blood and gore.”

Dark and fog-filled, Fright Dome creates a chilling atmosphere with roaming characters, high-powered strobes, multi-colored lasers and five acres of fright made up of five haunted houses, four all new extreme scare zones, rides, 25 attractions and nightly live stage shows by top-notch entertainers. Many of the video games are available and the Midway at Circus Circus is also open for food and drinks.

Attendees can receive a $10 discount via a coupon available online at www.lasvegaspride.org and in printed ads. “I believe this will be a hugely successful evening. Who doesn’t like a great haunted house?” says Yuen.
