2007 Las Vegas PRIDE Royalty
This was a challenging year for the PRIDE Royalty, the board decided to expand their traveling itinerary and utilize them to promote Las Vegas PRIDE. The responses from the west coast communities were overwhelming and very positive. The responsibilities of the title winners was changing… they were changing into ambassadors of our Las Vegas LGBT community.

Vanessa McCoy, 19 years-old and recently graduated from Valley High School, won the 2007 title after her friends entered her into the pageant as a surprise. As Ms. Youth 2007, Vanessa performed a spoken word piece, “Cute for a Girl” by Alix Olsen at the 2007 Las Vegas PRIDE festival.
