Lights! Camera! Action! Cinema in Song Spring Concert
Join the LVMC in a year-long celebration of our 30th Anniversary as we share beloved songs from your favorite movies. “Lights! Camera! Action! Cinema in Song” will take you on a memorable journey through Hollywood history and pay tribute to the greatest films of all time. Featuring tunes from the classics, fun throwback films, & even big-screen moments that have graced the Broadway stage. And there’s even more fun: help us commemorate Artistic Director Ryan Duff’s 10th season with the LVMC! Complete with exciting video projections, soul-stirring soloists, and our new featured dance line, this concert at UNLV’s Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall is one you don’t want to miss!
Tickets are available via UNLV PAC Box Office: online at pac.unlv.edu, in-person Tuesday-Saturday 12 pm-6 pm, or via phone at 702.895.ARTS. Special pricing is available for military members, senior citizens, children, and students while supplies last.

AFAN AIDS Walk
On May 7, 2023, Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) will host the 33rd annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas at Sunset Park with Grand Marshals Penn & Teller. This is one of the most significant fundraising events in the state of Nevada to support the fight against AIDS. Join local celebrities, community leaders, and businesses in making this year’s event an incredible success.
Walk or Run for a healthier community.
You can join thousands of attendees who walk or run to raise funds and awareness in support of Southern Nevadans infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.
AFAN is leading the way.
AFAN is our state's largest non-profit AIDS service organization and has been assisting Nevadans living with HIV/AIDS for 38 years. AFAN serves over 800 HIV-positive men, women, and children with direct financial assistance, medical transportation, Medical housing, and free HIV Testing. In addition, we provide HIV testing, education, and prevention programs that are suitable for a wider range of community audiences.
No contribution is too small.

It will run for 10 weeks, beginning April 20th. There will be topics and themes each week, but also time for bonding and personal shares.
Some topics that will be covered include identity exploration, coming out safely, emotion regulation, and addressing misconceptions about being LGBTQ+.
There will also be discussions around LGBTQ+ pop culture, gender envy, how memes and the internet foster a sense of community, and the overlap between neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ identities.
We understand the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ youth and we want to offer this safe space for connection.

Enchanted Forest 2023 Youth Prom
The LGBTQ+ Center of Southern Nevada is offering its own Youth Prom. It's a fabulous night of music, food, dancing, and live entertainment for LGBTQ+ teenagers who otherwise may not get a chance to celebrate this special event and create positive lasting memories that will forever impact their lives.
"The Center's Youth Prom is about creating space for LGBTQ+ youth to celebrate their authentic selves. It's a night where they can have fun hanging out with their friends and have the opportunity to meet other LGBTQ+ youth from across the Las Vegas Valley," says Neavez.
This year's prom theme is Enchanted Forest. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest magical garments and accessories, and anyone can be crowned the winner of three royal categories.
The Enchanted Forest Youth Prom will be held at KAOS at Palms Casino Resort on June 3, 2023, from 7 pm to 10 pm. It is a free event for LGBTQ+ youth and allies between 13 and 18.
