AFAN AIDS Walk
Sunset Park 2601 E Sunset Rd, Las Vegas, NV, United StatesOn May 7, 2023, Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) will host the 33rd annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas at Sunset Park with Grand Marshals Penn & Teller. This is one of the most significant fundraising events in the state of Nevada to support the fight against AIDS. Join local celebrities, community leaders, and businesses in making this year’s event an incredible success.

You can join thousands of attendees who walk or run to raise funds and awareness in support of Southern Nevadans infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.
AFAN is leading the way.
AFAN is our state's largest non-profit AIDS service organization and has been assisting Nevadans living with HIV/AIDS for 38 years. AFAN serves over 800 HIV-positive men, women, and children with direct financial assistance, medical transportation, Medical housing, and free HIV Testing. In addition, we provide HIV testing, education, and prevention programs that are suitable for a wider range of community audiences.
No contribution is too small.

Speed Dating for Lesbian Women

Then join us for an unforgettable evening of speed dating in a very intimate, casual, and fun setting! Hosted by Coco Tagen, who has years of experience hosting speed dating events. This is a unique opportunity to connect with other singles in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
With a maximum of 30 women, this event is designed to ensure that you have plenty of time to get to know each potential match. You'll have just a few minutes to chat with each person before one set of women moves on to the next, but don't worry – if you don't have anything to talk about you can discuss our groovy 1970s decor. And with Coco as your host, you can be sure that the atmosphere will be fun and lighthearted. Rainbow Connections Support Group
Lifeologie Counseling Henderson 880 Seven Hills Drive, Suite 200, Henderson, NV, United StatesRainbow Connections is an open in-person support group for LGBTQ+ identified youth, ages 13-17, to socialize, discuss important topics, and get support from peers and professionals. It will run for 10 weeks, beginning April 20th. There will be topics and themes each week, but also time for bonding and personal shares.
Some topics that will be covered include identity exploration, coming out safely, emotion regulation, and addressing misconceptions about being LGBTQ+.
There will also be discussions around LGBTQ+ pop culture, gender envy, how memes and the internet foster a sense of community, and the overlap between neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ identities.
We understand the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ youth and we want to offer this safe space for connection.
