Dungeons Not Dating: How One Queer Founder is Rewriting the Rules of Community, Connection & Play

While most apps are asking LGBTQ+ people to date, swipe, flirt, or scroll, one queer founder is asking us to adventure. Rachel Dove — openly lesbian founder, storyteller, and D&D player — created Dungeons Not Dating, a first-of-its-kind platform designed to help LGBTQ+ gamers find safe, inclusive, values-aligned tabletop groups.

Sarah Hester Ross: The Sound of Laughter, Power, and Pride

When Sarah Hester Ross takes the stage, you don’t just get a performance; you get a full-body experience. Her powerhouse vocals, razor-sharp wit, and no-holds-barred humor have made her one of Las Vegas’ most dynamic entertainers and one of social media’s most beloved musical comedians. Whether she’s belting out a satirical anthem, improvising a “Florida Man” story from an audience member’s birthday, or weaving laughter into social commentary, Ross embodies what it means to perform with authenticity, purpose, and heart.

The Green Shack: A Hidden Landmark in Las Vegas LGBTQ+ History

Long before the bright lights of the Strip defined Las Vegas entertainment, there was The Green Shack, a beloved local spot that quietly helped shape the city’s cultural and social history. Originally opened by Mattie Jones around 1929, The Green Shack began humbly as a kitchen-window operation serving hearty meals to dam workers. Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin reportedly dined there, as did “Bugsy” Siegel, who was said to have been a regular customer during the construction of the Flamingo.

For the Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Conclave 2025 was exactly that moment. This year, our desert home became the epicenter of Sisterhood as more than 40 Sisters from around the world gathered in Las Vegas for a week of reflection, joy, service, and celebration.

Letter from the President

As we head into the end of 2025, we have much to be thankful for and much work left to do for the future. We just wrapped up the Las Vegas PRIDE Parade and Festival, and we have so many things to celebrate (and lots of lessons to help us grow, too). For the first time in our history, we experienced heavy rains during the Las Vegas PRIDE Parade, and we had to cancel the event. We saw a great deal of celebration and positive energy from all our participants, despite our shared disappointment.

Sauna: A Tender, Unflinching Love Story That Redefines Queer Cinema

When Sauna releases worldwide on November 18, audiences will be witnessing a piece of Danish film history. The debut feature from director Mathias Broe is the first film in Denmark to cast a transgender actor in a leading trans role. But beyond that milestone lies something even more profound, a raw and tender reimagining of love, belonging, and identity that dares to show queer intimacy in its most unguarded form.

Exclusively Inclusive.

This year, I’ve noticed more polarization within this country than ever before in my lifetime. As we move into the holiday season, I wonder how this may impact festivities, if at all. If we spend time with like-minded individuals or follow strict rules not to discuss certain subjects, maybe there won’t be a negative impact. But how do we best handle uncomfortable situations where those controversial or polarizing topics are discussed?

Dominic Pérignon: Redefining Visibility Through Travel, Storytelling, and Community

When Dominic Pérignon travels, he carries more than a suitcase. He carries visibility. For the Houston-born, Hollywood-based content creator, journalist, and advocate, each trip is both a test and a triumph. “Some of the standout challenges are simple things most people take for granted: using airport security, finding safe restrooms, or checking into a hotel without someone double-taking my ID,” he explains. Yet those moments of discomfort are balanced by affirmations: hotels that respect pronouns at check-in, campaigns that highlight trans representation, and chance encounters with other queer travelers.
