Located at the edge of Chinatown and just around the corner from Area 15, Las Vegas Mannequins is just as mysterious as any local curiosity shop. Running about a block along the beginning of West Desert Inn, with its massive colorful façade and two or three dark three-dimensional figures climbing up the outer wall, we find Las Vegas Mannequins.

Founded in 2004 by a true female entrepreneur, Alison Wainwright, Las Vegas Mannequins is celebrating over 20 years within the Las Vegas Valley. What was once a side hustle, the venture quickly became a full-time business and has grown into one of the industry’s largest and leading mannequin and store fixture businesses.

Las Vegas Mannequins has reached beyond Nevada and is continually expanding into the national market. Often sought out for film, theatrical, and museum exhibits, the collection at LV Mannequins is continually rotating and evolving with new and old pieces alike. Vintage and often very interesting forms have always been created for specific productions.

Las Vegas PRIDE was fortunate to have such a mannequin form donated to our new outreach campaign. A one-of-a-kind mannequin design from the late Gloria “Lulu” Pillay was developed into our three-dimensional PRIDE SPIRIT Photo Op. SPIRIT represents the Soul, Purpose, Integrity, Respect, Intent, and Truth of being PROUD! Spirit will travel with us throughout our marketing endeavors. We hope that you will get a chance to meet them!

When Alison is not busy with them, she has broadened her perspective into something more hospitable than fiberglass forms, craft beer. The very first local woman owned and operated craft beer brew house, Voo Doo Brewing Co. Vegas Pub opened in late October of 2021 and has been going strong since.

This unique one-of-a-kind pub tucked within a collection of trendy businesses on 1415 S. Commerce in downtown Las Vegas features some amazing, finely crafted beers and specialty cocktails. The massive outside courtyard features a lively collection of repurposed patio furnishings, lavish graffiti murals, and eclectic live entertainment every week.

Las Vegas PRIDE is very fortunate to partner with Alison and the Voo Doo Pub for many Ladies Night Out events and a very special Friday the 13th Celebration coming up in June. We are also proud to have Voo Doo Brewing Co. Vegas Pub as one of our Cocktail Coalition partners!
