BE YOU! was the theme for the 2024 Annual Palm Springs PRIDE – Festival and Parade November 3 – 4th in historical and fabulous Downtown Palm Springs, California. Las Vegas PRIDE Royalty and their lively contingent traveled West and were honored to be part of the amazing 3-day festival!
Mr. and Mrs. Las Vegas PRIDE, Derek Guerrero and Norma Llyaman, were excited to represent Las Vegas in their very first out-of-town parade! Special attention was taken into every detail for the visit.

A classic hot pink Cadillac was presented as their chariot, and it was a true crowd favorite! While they both chose to wear something less traditional for royalty, they each wore colorful flamingo-inspired resort wear with a twist! Was it blush or bashful or Pepto Pink? No matter what the shade, Las Vegas was truly represented with their robust spirit and energy!
The PRIDE entourage enjoyed a beautiful festival full of incredible entertainment, shopping and visiting with many local service providers and social programs. A special shoutout to the many friends that came from Las Vegas to support. It was great to see so many familiar faces throughout the weekend. There were even a few celebrity encounters with Sister Roma from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Grand Marshall – Trixie Mattell and of course the Queen Mother of the Court – Nicole M. Ramiez.
The event was all curated within the old historic downtown Palm Springs Corridor and classic LGBTQIA+ Venues.
