We are happy to have you join us for the 2nd Annual National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Dinner and Show, brought to you by Silver State Equality, Minority Health Consultants and Black Queer Men of Las Vegas. This event is sponsored by Aetna, NV Energy, and The Links Incorporated Las Vegas (NV) Chapter.

This event includes dinner and a cash bar (must be at least 21 years old with proof of a valid ID) and is free to attend. Registration is required. Space is limited.

The purpose of the event is to use entertainment and education as a way to celebrate the gains made in HIV prevention, highlight the work being done to decrease HIV stigma and boost HIV testing, prevention, and treatment, and envision a future without HIV/AIDS.

Performances by Vogue Robinson, author and Clark County Nevada’s second poet laureate in 2017; Javon Johnson, a three-time poetry slam champion and four-time national finalist; Brittany Soul, spoken word artist; Andy Feds, comedian and HIV awareness and education advocate, and a dance performance by CJ Edwards, Mr. Gay USofA.

Guests will also hear from Davina “Dee” Connor, an international speaker and HIV advocate and educator; Chyna “Yoshi” St. Laurent, transgender advocate, the Nevada Faith & Health Coalition, and more.

Our emcee for the evening is comedian and actor Clark Lewis.
