Voices for Equality
The Center 401 S Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV, United StatesHRC is launching a nationwide effort to engage LGBTQ+ people and allies to reignite the grassroots fight for equality. At the heart of this campaign is a renewed focus on one of the most powerful tools we have for changing hearts, minds, and policies: our personal stories.
Since the earliest days of the LGBTQ+ movement, personal storytelling has been one of our most powerful tools for change. When people hear directly from LGBTQ+ people — their friends, neighbors, family members — they see us for who we are. Our stories influence how others vote, speak up, and show up when our rights, safety, and dignity are on the line. -
