As we near the end of 2023, I am so grateful for our community and the amazing milestones we have achieved. The Las Vegas PRIDE Parade and Festival were a great success. In Las Vegas, we do things a little differently. While the rest of the country typically recognizes Pride Month in June, our city does it in October. And, as we have every year for the last 40 years, Las Vegas is as ready as ever to celebrate love and reaffirm our support for acceptance, equality, and fair treatment for all.

Then I mentioned it to another friend, who said, “Karen, how have you never heard of this place?
