As a kid, I felt a strong connection with my gay friends. The more I learned about their experiences and interests, the more I realized how much we had in common. The larger my circle of LGBTQ+ friends grew, the more I realized how much the LGBTQ+ and Disability communities have in common.
Las Vegas PRIDE OUTside Hikes Tule Springs Loop
The Floyd Lamb State Park features the Tule Springs Loop, which is a free-to-access trail that interconnects with the greater park area. This area features lakes and grass, historic buildings, level trails, both paved and unpaved, and a mix of desert and green scenery and wildlife.
The Neon Museum: Shining Through Time
In the vibrant tapestry of Las Vegas, where every glimmering light tells a story, a narrative of resilience and community is woven within the walls of LGBTQ+ establishments like Le Café and the Red Barn. These sanctuaries of acceptance, though often overlooked, stand as monuments to the courage and defiance of those who dared to challenge societal norms.
Silver State Equality is Getting Out the Vote
History will remember what we do this election. Will the American people – will Nevadans – rise in support of democracy? Will they speak out in defense of a society that is fair, just and equal for all Americans, and against assaults on LGBTQ+ rights; on reproductive freedoms; on racial injustice? The imperative to take action has never been greater. If we are to advance pro-LGBTQ+ initiatives instead of just blocking an anti-LGBTQ+ agenda, it comes down to this year’s election.

Volunteer with Las Vegas PRIDE!
Whether you volunteer at the PRIDE Night Parade or the PRIDE Festival, by becoming a volunteer and joining our Volunteer LOVE program you are sure to make great new friends while feeling good about the work you are doing in your community. In addition to our own educational programs, Las Vegas PRIDE partners with numerous organizations to promote awareness and assist with fundraising efforts, providing financial support for LGBT focused programs. This is done in the hopes of creating a stronger LGBT community in Southern Nevada.
