Introducing a New Way to Meet: PRIDE Community Mixer

Did you know that Nevada ranks 9th in the Williams Institute report for the estimated number of LGBTQIA+ adults? According to the report, 6.6% of Nevadans identify as LGBTQIA+, totaling over 150,000 individuals. As Nevada continues to grow, so does its vibrant and diverse LGBTQIA+ community. This growth is reflected in Las Vegas’s reputation as a premier travel destination for LGBTQIA+ visitors.

For over 42 years, Las Vegas PRIDE has been at the forefront of celebrating and supporting this dynamic community. Now, they’re taking the next step in fostering connections with the launch of the Las Vegas PRIDE Community Mixer. This monthly event promises to be a welcoming, free-to-attend gathering that brings together non-profit community leaders, local allies, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community of all ages.

A Mixer for Everyone

The PRIDE Community Mixer is an open invitation to all. Whether you’re a Las Vegas native or new to the area, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with the city’s diverse and vibrant PRIDE community. Local LGBTQIA+ organizations and businesses will be on hand to engage attendees, making it easy to forge new friendships and strengthen existing ties.

The PRIDE Community Mixer is designed to be lighthearted and fun, with no barriers to participation. The event is free and open to all ages, featuring a special cocktail menu, food options, and entertainment provided by Las Vegas PRIDE Royalty. Attendees will also have the chance to meet local community leaders and organizations, creating meaningful connections in a casual setting.

After the mixer, guests are invited to explore the rest of AREA15’s dining and entertainment offerings or stay for the much-loved PRIDE Family BINGO event, which continues in the same space until approximately 9 PM.

When and Where

The PRIDE Community Mixer will be held monthly alongside the Las Vegas PRIDE Family BINGO event. The mixer runs from 5 to 7 PM, with BINGO continuing through the evening. The venue, AREA15, is conveniently located with ample free parking and an array of a-la-carte dining and entertainment options for attendees to enjoy.
