Your Voice, Your Vote

By Las Vegas PRIDE Magazine Staff

For generations, LGBTQ+ Americans have fought not only for visibility and equality, but also for the fundamental right to participate fully in democracy. From the early activism that followed the Stonewall Uprising to modern-day movements advocating for equality, healthcare access, safety, and representation, voting has remained one of the most powerful tools our community has to shape the future.

The LGBTQ+ vote has played an important role in advancing civil rights protections, supporting inclusive policies, and electing leaders at every level of government who understand the importance of dignity and equal opportunity for all people. While progress has been made, many issues that impact our community continue to be decided through local, state, and national elections.

Las Vegas PRIDE encourages all eligible voters to stay informed, review the issues and candidates carefully, and make a plan to vote. Below, readers will find a collection of voter guides and election resources designed to help our community better understand what will appear on the ballot.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Las Vegas PRIDE does not endorse candidates or political parties, nor do we engage in political campaign activity. We provide these resources strictly as a public service to encourage civic engagement and informed participation in the democratic process.
