Letter from the President
By Brady McGill
As we start to wrap up Summer and head into the last quarter of 2025 (and into Las Vegas PRIDE season), we have so much to be thankful for, to look forward to, and so very much work ahead of us. While our community faces so much adversity, we also see so much help, love, and support. All marginalized groups know that we have more in common with our neighbors than our differences, and we take a stand to fight for our rights and the rights of others together!
Las Vegas PRIDE Family BINGO, our PRIDE OUTside Hikes, our PRIDE Skate Nights, PRIDE Party, and our ELEVATE PRIDE Pool Party have all been well-attended and have spread joy all year. Our social media, website, and Las Vegas PRIDE Magazine have seen increased engagement as we share our struggles and successes.

As we gear up for Las Vegas PRIDE season, which is hosted each October to coincide with LGBTQIA+ History Month, National Coming OUT Day, and the much nicer weather in the area, we face known and new challenges. It’s been in the national news that PRIDE groups have seen decreases in their funding. Las Vegas PRIDE has always been powered by our own community through grass-roots fundraising, and made possible by the work of an all-volunteer board, and the decades-long relationships with our wonderful sponsors. We see a path ahead to making Las Vegas PRIDE 2025 a success, and we are blessed to have a vibrant and diverse local audience, as well as out-of-town visitors who make this event possible. Please do share all of our OCTOBER events, join us at upcoming events, and like, comment, and share about all of our fun and exciting events and programs!
Happy PRIDE!
