Las Vegas PRIDE had a packed February full of events for all ages. The PRIDE Party kicked off the month at The Phoenix with entertainment from PRIDE Royalty, Hanna Barbeara, and Robert Ryan; we brought back PRIDE Skate at Crystal Palace Rancho and had a guided hike at Red Rock. We had a blast at all these events, but the highlight of the month was our inaugural PRIDE Community Mixer, followed by our classic PRIDE Family BINGO on February 5th at AREA15.

Las Vegas PRIDE was thrilled to host its very first PRIDE Community Mixer, creating a fun and vibrant evening for the community to come together. The Portal at AREA15 set the perfect backdrop, but it was the warmth, joy, and positivity brought by the attendees that truly made the event shine. Throughout the night, guests were treated to Drag performances by Norma Llyaman (our Mrs. Las Vegas PRIDE), Hanna Barbeara, Jolene Secrets, Fidget, and Josie Cavallari. This exciting new monthly event is committed to being a welcoming, free-to-attend gathering that unites nonprofit leaders, local allies, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community of all ages. Future events will have a variety of featured community leaders available to chat about who they are and how they build up the Las Vegas community.
Guests at the Mixer were invited to explore the rest of AREA15’s dining and entertainment offerings or stay for the much-loved PRIDE Family BINGO event, which continues in the same space until approximately 9 PM. Bingo and raffle prizes included kitchen appliances, show tickets, a smart TV, and more! Every bingo pack or raffle ticket purchased helps support Las Vegas PRIDE’s mission to uplift and amplify the voice of the LGBTQIA+ community of Southern Nevada. We want to offer a big thank you to everyone who attended the event.
Are you wondering if you should attend the next PRIDE Community Mixer or PRIDE Family BINGO? If you’re someone who wants to bring your kids to an LGBTQIA+ event, this is a fun and safe space. This is an excellent alternative if you’re not into the bar scene but want to mingle. If you’re into the bar scene, we’ve got drink specials. This is also a great way to show your support if you’re an ally. If you want to partner with or support Las Vegas PRIDE, this is a great opportunity to support and meet us. If you like playing games, we have bingo. If you’re hungry, the food is delicious. If you want entertainment, we have Queens and Kings to show off. This event is for you if you want to find out how the community is standing together.
Come as you are, bring a friend, and we can’t wait to meet you next time! Be sure to check out our event calendar at LasVegasPRIDE.org for upcoming dates, including the next one on March 12th.
