When the Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence throw a party, it’s never just about the glitz and glam—though there’s plenty of that too. Red Dress 2025, set for Saturday, March 22, 2025, is not just another event on the Las Vegas calendar. It is the heart and soul of a community that has been thriving, evolving, and coming together for two decades, and it’s all for a cause that remains at the forefront of their work: fighting HIV/AIDS and ensuring that those who need help have access to the life-saving care they deserve.
This year marks an extraordinary milestone for the Sisters—their 20th anniversary in Las Vegas. For two decades, they have been a consistent presence in the community, creating safe spaces, supporting local events, and ensuring that the LGBTQ+ community remains visible, empowered, and engaged. Their service, kindness, and commitment have made them an integral part of the city’s fabric, and Red Dress is the perfect way to celebrate everything they’ve accomplished, and to continue the fight for a better future.

A Long-Standing Tradition for a Good Cause
Red Dress is more than just a party—it’s a tradition that brings together individuals, organizations, and communities from all walks of life. While the event is known for its fabulous red attire, it’s the underlying cause that makes it so important. The funds raised during the evening benefit the Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program (SADAP), which provides assistance for those living with HIV/AIDS and helps bridge the gap for individuals struggling to afford crucial treatments.
“Every dollar raised during Red Dress goes back into the community,” says Sister Prudence, Abbess of the Sin Sity Sisters. “It’s our way of giving back and making sure that everyone who needs help can get it—whether it’s through HIV medication, PrEP, or Trans services. The support from our community, especially through events like Red Dress, is what allows us to continue our mission.”
SADAP’s impact is immeasurable. For over 16 years, the program has been a lifeline for the working poor, the underinsured, and the uninsured. Thanks to donors and attendees, the Sisters have distributed over $1 million in HIV/AIDS care, and they continue to provide a critical service that is often unavailable elsewhere.
Celebrating 20 Years of Sisterhood
As the Sin Sity Sisters celebrate 20 years of service in Las Vegas, they are taking a moment to reflect on their growth and how they’ve evolved alongside the community they serve. “When we first started, it was just a few of us gathering to make a difference,” Sister Glo, Mistress of Novices of the Sin Sity Sisters. “Now, we’ve created a space where everyone is welcome—no matter your background, gender, or sexuality. It’s a space where we can all come together and support each other.”
One of the most remarkable things about Red Dress is how it brings together so many diverse groups under one roof. It’s not just the Sisters; it’s the entire LGBTQ+ community and allies who make this event so special. Over the years, Red Dress has become a time to celebrate all the connections that have been built over the years, and to highlight the vast and varied groups that make up Las Vegas’s vibrant LGBTQ+ scene.
“We’re proud to be the connective tissue between so many parts of this community,” says Sister Jenni Craig, Member at Large, Sin Sity Sisters. “From NGRA, IRSCDEI, the Bears, The Pups, The Boys, Las Vegas PRIDE, Henderson Pride, Gender Diverse, and the Transpride Center of Southern Nevada, to the many amazing HIV providers like AFAN, The Center, Huntridge, Farabi, AHF, and so many more, we’re all in this together. Red Dress is a celebration of all of us and the work we’ve done to lift each other up.”
A Night to Remember
With all the hard work behind the scenes, the Sin Sity Sisters promise Red Dress 2025 will be an unforgettable experience. Attendees can expect top-notch entertainment, delicious food, plenty of drinks, and a night of dancing and celebration. The event will be hosted at The Usual Place, a vibrant, community-oriented venue that’s become a staple for Las Vegas’s LGBTQ+ crowd.
The evening’s festivities will include a live DJ, performances by some of the best talent, and, of course, the iconic Red Dress contest, where everyone is encouraged to wear their best (and brightest) red outfits. The Red Dress event isn’t just about raising money—it’s about raising spirits, fostering community, and celebrating how far we’ve come.
