Annual PRIDE Night Parade

Join us in downtown Las Vegas on September 7, 2012 for the most glamorous, glittering spectacle ever created by the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community of Southern Nevada, the annual Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade.

General Information

This year’s PRIDE Night Parade features Las Vegas’ gay and straight business community, nonprofit organizations, GLBT service agencies, civic groups, and churches as well as SNAPI’s newly crowned adult and youth royalty. Don’t forget to come early for the pre-party at the Fremont St. Experience and, when the parade ends, make sure to keep the party going at the Fremont St. Experience where special entertainment has been lined up for the evening.

Parade Pre-Show at the Main Stage begins at 7pm on September 7, 2012
Parade begins at 8pm

The parade route begins at West Charleston Blvd. and heads north along 4th Street to Ogden Avenue. Secure your spot where the action happens early. The main stage is at Bridger Avenue just two blocks south of the Fremont Street Experience.

This year Cox is proud to support Southern Nevada’s GLBT community as the official broadcast partner of the PRIDE Night Parade. Watch the parade LIVE on September 7th from 8pm - 10pm on Cox Channel 96 or online at www.cox96.net. Or party all night at the parade and catch all the fun AGAIN during one of 6 rebroadcasts on Cox Channel 96.

There is a competition for parade entries vying for trophies for best walking units, vehicle units, and floats. Judging takes place at the grandstand so support your entry with thunderous applause as they strut their stuff for our celebrity judges. Parade entry forms will be accepted until 6pm on August 31, 2012 via the PRIDE Parade Application Page.

Parade Main Stage Hosts

Diva Delafuente

Female Illusionist

Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Diva Delafuente has been performing in the art of female impersonation for 19 years. She has been part of the Las Vegas community for more than 10 years, performing in various shows and charity functions. She currently hosts Drag Queen Bingo at Charlie’s Las Vegas and held the title of Miss Las Vegas PRIDE in 2010. She also serves on the board of directors for Las Vegas PRIDE and is the co-director of entertainment for the 2011 PRIDE Festival.

JewDi Vine

Female Illusionist

Justin D. Liming (aka JewDi Vine) has lived in Las Vegas for 8 years and has been entertaining audiences throughout L.A. and Las Vegas for 6 years. In 2004 he got involved with the Southern Nevada Association of Pride, Inc. (SNAPI) and sang the National Anthem for PRIDE. Since then he has become highly involved with SNAPI and other non-profits, raising money and awareness for the LGBT community. As a trained singer and dancer, Justin dreamed of becoming a show boy on the Strip. Ironically, he became a "show girl" and in 2005 JewDi Vine took stage for the first time at Hamburger Mary's! Justin knew his passion for performing and working with non-profits would be a perfect marriage and decided to dedicate his time and focus on bringing our communities together. In 2009, JewDi Vine was nominated and crowned Miss Las Vegas PRIDE. Over the next few years, Justin/JewDi became a member of the Board of Directors for SNAPI while continuing to host events and shows.
