Las Vegas PRIDE was thrilled to host its very first PRIDE Community Mixer, creating a fun and vibrant evening for the community to come together. The Portal at AREA15 set the perfect backdrop, but it was the warmth, joy, and positivity brought by the attendees that truly made the event shine.

Singer-songwriter, pianist, and producer Mike Maimone is set to release his latest single, “On My Way,” on March 7. This heartfelt track is the first glimpse into his forthcoming LP, Guess What? I Love You, is a deeply personal project dedicated to his late husband, renowned PR guru Howard Bragman.

Red Dress 2025, set for Saturday, March 22, 2025, is not just another event on the Las Vegas calendar. It is the heart and soul of a community that has been thriving, evolving, and coming together for two decades, and it’s all for a cause that remains at the forefront of their work: fighting HIV/AIDS and ensuring that those who need help have access to the life-saving care they deserve.

Over the holiday, I watched the new documentary “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story.” It did not disappoint; I loved it! I was anxiously awaiting its release for months. After all, he is one of my heroes.

Join us as we enjoy the beauty of the Red Rock National Conservation Area. This trail is rated easy and uses a well defined trail with some light scrambling as desired. In and back on the same path, the total hike is just under 4 miles total and has a roughly 400 foot elevation change over the total distance.

For over 42 years, Las Vegas PRIDE has been at the forefront of celebrating and supporting this dynamic community. Now, they’re taking the next step in fostering connections with the launch of the Las Vegas PRIDE Community Mixer. This monthly event promises to be a welcoming, free-to-attend gathering that brings together non-profit community leaders, local allies, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community of all ages.

As we begin 2025, we will have many uncertainties ahead. What we know is that as a community, we have achieved so much progress, and despite pushback from conservative minorities, the overall acceptance and love in the world will always win!
