The 2026 BigHorn Rodeo proved once again why it remains one of Southern Nevada’s most beloved LGBTQ+ traditions. Hosted by the Nevada Gay Rodeo Association over Mother’s Day weekend at Horseman’s Park, this year’s event brought together more contestants, attendees, and community partners than ever before, making it one of the most successful rodeos in recent memory.
Las Vegas PRIDE was proud to be part of the excitement once again, sharing in the fun, fellowship, and unforgettable moments that make the BigHorn Rodeo so special. Among the highlights was the recognition of our very own Mr. and Mrs. Las Vegas PRIDE 2024, Derek Guerrero and Jim McCoy, who were honored as the rodeo’s official Community Heroes and Grand Marshals.

Throughout the weekend, Las Vegas PRIDE kept the festivities going with a popular Kissing Booth Photo Op featuring the entertaining and one-of-a-kind “Cousin Buck,” delighting rodeo fans of all ages. On Sunday evening, PRIDE hosted the Awards Night hospitality hot dog stand with featured chef and Mr. Las Vegas PRIDE 2026, Meliton Kleiner Lei. The celebration concluded with Las Vegas PRIDE proudly sponsoring and presenting the coveted Best All-Around Cowboy and Best All-Around Cowgirl championship buckles.
