Las Vegas’ most anticipated night of fashion, entertainment, and philanthropy is back. On Saturday, September 20, Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) hosts its 39th Annual Black & White Party at the iconic KAOS Nightclub inside Palms Casino Resort, promising a “Wild West” showdown like no other—all in the name of supporting Southern Nevadans living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Presented in partnership with Clark County’s Love! Live! Undetectable Equals Untransmittable (U=U) campaign, the Black & White Party is AFAN’s signature fundraiser and one of the longest-running, most celebrated charity events in Las Vegas.

A Night of Style and Celebration

This year’s Western-inspired theme encourages guests to show off their best black-and-white cowboy couture, from rhinestone rodeo chic to daring desert glam. The evening will be co-hosted by Fredric Godinez and Alexander Stabler of design firm Fredric Alexander, who will set the stage for a night that blends community spirit with Las Vegas spectacle.

More Than a Party

Proceeds from the evening provide critical funding for AFAN’s year-round programs, which include HIV testing, medical case management, housing assistance, transportation, food programs, and prevention education.

“After more than four decades of service, AFAN remains steadfast in our mission to support those affected by HIV/AIDS and to end HIV stigma,” said Antioco Carrillo, AFAN’s executive director. “The Black & White Party is not only our largest fundraiser, but also a celebration of our community’s strength and generosity.”
