Honorarium: The Center’s Annual Gala 2022

The LGBTQ Center of Southern Nevada will have its 2022 Honorarium at Resorts World Las Vegas on October 14, 2022, starting at 5:30 pm.

The Center will honor pioneering local businesswoman and non-profit leader Laura Sussman as Person of the Year, casino executive and former Center Board Chair Raul Daniels as the recipient of the Center Legacy Award, and Russell Davis as Volunteer of the Year. Accepting the Lanny D. Love Hero Award will be Carl Nassib, formerly of the Las Vegas Raiders, who made history as the first active NFL player to come out as gay.

More than just the party of the season, the event supports & empowers people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions to live authentic lives. “The Honorarium is an incredible show of support to strengthen and unite Las Vegas’ LGBTQIA2+ community and the vulnerable populations served by the Center,” says John Waldron, Ed. D, Chief Executive Officer of The Center.

Incredible honorees, fun and inspiring entertainment, gourmet food and specialty cocktails, and a spectacular live and silent auction all benefit the important programs and services of The Center.
