DRAMA is the multicultural collaboration between producer Na’el Shehade’s chic Chicago house-infused production style, and vocalist Via Rosa whose soulful delivery is inspired by the improvisational nature of jazz and playful patterns of hip-hop and bossa nova. The duo play to the complementary dynamics of their unlikely pairing by blurring the lines between R&B and dance-pop, heartbreak and bliss.
We caught Laganja Estranja for a brief interview before she left on her upcoming tour. She will be closing out the season in Dewey beach, Delaware, Hawaii, where she has been performing 2 to 3 times a year since 2014. Then Canada and closing the tour in New York. Fortunately, we are learning more every day about the monkeypox virus (MPX) and how the virus behaves outside of Central and West Africa. To understand how we got to the place we are today, it’s important to outline the chronology of events leading up to the MPX global health threat.
Don’t assume a couple is heterosexual just because of their gender expression. It could be someone and their trans partner, or both could be trans, gender non-conforming, or non-binary. They may be queer, unlabeled, questioning, or identify as a straight couple.
As we approach Las Vegas PRIDE 2022, the road behind us is to tough to think about, the present is filled with pressure and uncertainty, and the future is still to be. Our theme this year, Beautiful Tomorrow, calls for us to take action. We must do something EVERY DAY to make tomorrow a better day for ourselves, and for others.
