LAS VEGAS PRIDE FAMILY BINGO IS BACK, BIGGER & BETTER THAN EVER!
Las Vegas, NV, May 14, 2012: Originally started at Hamburger Mary’s Las Vegas in 2005, PRIDE Family Bingo was a monthly fundraiser for the annual Las Vegas PRIDE Festival. With the help of Hamburger Mary’s owners Andy Barrett, James Healey, DJ Danny G and BINGO Chairman Ernie Yuen, PRIDE Family Bingo grew into a popular monthly community event. This monthly event was hosted by community entertainers like JewDi Vine and Chi Chi Dela Cruz. With theme nights, great prizes, and food and drink specials, patrons had a fabulous evening of fun and entertainment.
Now, seven years later, WE’RE BACK! We are pleased to call the newly renovated Circus Circus our home for PRIDE Family Bingo. Bingo Chairman and SNAPI President Ernie Yuen is spear-heading the revival of the monthly LGBT / ”straight-friendly” event. Yuen said, “We are very excited to be bringing back a community favorite. When Hamburger Mary’s closed, this iconic event closed with it. Reviving it is going to be a blast; and we get to make money for our community in the process. We are very happy that Circus Circus has partnered with us for this venture.”
With its return, Bingo fans will discover some of the favorites that made PRIDE Family Bingo a huge success. This won’t be traditional casino bingo! We will play special Bingo games, raffle off fantastic prizes, and celebrate throughout the night with “O-69” shots. Circus Circus will provide a cash bar with great drink specials, as well as a snack bar with special Bingo treats. One new addition to the monthly festivities will be “SNAPI Hour” before Bingo. Players are invited to come early to socialize with their friends and listen to DJ Danny G spin his tunes from 6:00 to 7:00pm. There will be drink specials and entertainment during “SNAPI Hour”. “Circus Circus has been amazing to work with. They truly want to see this event grow and become what it used to be at Mary’s. I think everyone will be surprised at what Las Vegas PRIDE and Circus Circus have in store for PRIDE Family Bingo!” Yuen says.
We are also pleased to announce our fun and outrageous hosts for PRIDE Family Bingo. Diana Prince, Miss Las Vegas PRIDE 2011, and Norma Llyaman will kick off “SNAPI Hour” at 6:00pm followed by Bingo at 7:00pm. Las Vegas PRIDE Family Bingo promises to be a great night of wacky fun.
Join the Southern Nevada Association of PRIDE, Inc. at the wonderful Circus Circus Casino on the north end of the strip for what promises to be a wild and crazy night every month. Las Vegas PRIDE Family Bingo kicks off on July 11, 2012, at 7 p.m. and then on the first Wednesday of every month thereafter. Bingo will be held in the Grand Ballroom in the Skyrise Tower at the north end of the property. Free parking is conveniently located in the garage adjacent to the Skyrise Tower. Parking in this garage will provide easy access to the ballrooms located on the first floor. Bingo packets (eleven games) will be $10 at the door. Raffle tickets will be available for 10 for $5.00.
